The Savior Rises (The Gargoyle Prophecies #1) by Christopher Payne

With a tattered Raggedy Ann doll as her only companion, Stefani has spent her entire life immersed in self isolation. As a 10-year-old child she was the lone witness to her mother’s murder. On her 21st birthday she discovers she isn’t the hunter–she is the one being hunted, and her predators are not human.

Can I just say that I’m still trying to wrap my head around this book? It’s like Evangelion in it’s complexity but 100x more confusing…
If the book had been plotted better and we were given more of a hint as to what’s going on then it would have been fine, I can’t make heads or tails of this book. We’re given 3 different stories and while two of them mesh to an extent, the third, the one were she’s stuck in a drug rehab clinic, does not and could have easily been left out and most likely should have.
I’m still reeling from the total mind-fuck this book has turned out to be….
